Alfa Romeo, Milan, Italy.  The Giulietta SS was a top of the range 2 door, front engine, rear wheel drive, sports coupé first seen at the 1960 Geneva Motor Show and produced from then to 1964. It followed on from the prototype Sprint Speciale, the low nose version and the Zagato SZ.  It thus was a Second Series Sport Speciale and in fact the production version.  It had the 1.3 litre 101 series engine which powered it to over 120 mph. In 1963 the 1.6 litre Giulia was introduced and it eventually replaced the Giulietta.  Although it was the production version rather than the racing version, the Giulietta SS was seen in events such as the Targa Florio and the Tour de France Automobile.
