Jaguar, Coventry, England.  The Jaguar XK140 was produced between 1954 and 1957 and was the model in between the XK120 and the XK150. Externally the XK140 was quite similar to the XK120. The Fixed Head Coupé was one of three body styles the others being the roadster and the drop head coupé. The two coupés had two small seats in the rear. All models were capable of over 120 mph and a 0-60 mph time of around 9 seconds.  There was a basic model and a slightly higher performance SE (Special Equipment) model that could achieve nearly 130 mph.  All models were powered by 3.4 litre XK straight six engine that achieve Le Mans wins in the C Type.  The XK140 FHC took second place in the 1956 RAC Rally driven by Ian Appleyard.
